Hi all,

Is your squadron still flying? Been in several times over the past 3 day and now one seems to be in there

Hi! I was desperately looking for a very old scenario that was presented to me by OGREMAN.
It was called road runner, and it was an unguided rockets/guns exercise for the ka50 into some canyons..
any way I can have this?

Hi, just wanted to pop in; I redid my computer and holidays start next week, so DCS comes into scope soon. No warning.

The date for 2018 gathering is to be fixed by general concensus (he is more reliable than general mayhem) before the Christmas holidays. As a general rule (he tends to be dictatorial) of thumb we try to have the "gathering" around the first or second week end in july, if anyone wishes to suggest other dates then they may leave a suggestion here or e-mail

Hi mates! Sad, I have to use my own guestbook to reach you, fortunately it exists. You are not forgotten, but during the last weeks I was busy - for the win. Today I graduated the theoretical part of my privat pilot license including radio comms (german/english). While the storm (low pressure region) evolves, I get myself a mug and enjoy life.

Hi mates!
You are not forgotten, I am still with you. Unfortunately my schedule is "interesting" and often keeps me from attending Tuesday. Are there major updates out? I'll check and hope to meet you guys soon again. Shrek BBQ is one point on the list leaving Bavaria again (since holidays are always in august - mid september). Working on my SPL though. Keep being muddy and gentle.

Wed16 & Thur17th JUL 2014.

As the time of the 2014 gathering draws near, friends of 9th -=Shrek=-Sqn should note that the squadron swamp will be occupied by thirsty members seeking quality swamp water and demanding burnt flesh. The consquence of this will most certainly be hazardous to to health. Because swampies are likely to be "incoherant" or at the very least distracted during this period, it is likely that the usual server services will be unreliable for several days before and after this gathering. Normal services will resume when the dead and dying have been removed from the swamp.

Fly with us on a regular basis, :-)

In time you can do checkride(s) and if you and we (as a squadron) would like you onboard you'll be put on the list of probitionary members (i.e. members waiting for a slot).

At any time you can jump on our TS if you have any questions or just want to chat/banter :-)

Hi "Laekur",
Everyone is welcome to fly at 9th-=Shrek=- and you will find that all the guys are easy going and generally helpful. The primary rule to fly with us is "you must be connected to the squadron TeamSpeak3 and in active voice comms" so no voice comms then no flight access.

Message-Logo laekur Wed, 28 Aug 2013 09:31:19 GMT +0

Anyone want to mentor a beginner for DCS series? I'm not complete newb, just haven't played for quite a long time, so I need to relearn most of it. Hell, if it all goes fine and dandy I might even join shrek sqdrn. Basically just need someone to shadow, so I can learn all of it in shortest time possible.

So there I was, minding my own business in a VERY UNSTABLE DCS server when this guy came into the squadron TS3 and said "guess who completed his A10c checkride for -=Shrek=-Sqn?" and that is how I learned that the most UNFRETENING guy flying with Shrek sqn became a fully functional all singing all dancing COMBAT READY -=Shrek=-Squadron KILLER PILOT ...... so on behalf of all the guys at -=Shrek=- I want to welcome FRETLESS-=Shrek=- to our ranks, long may you scare the living daylights out of your virtual enemies.
PS- sorry about the lack of a frequent flyer tail number .... you will have to join the que!.

Quite correct, but the server is password protected. You can get the password via voice-comms on TS3. If you click "home" on the left of this display, you can click on the "TEAMSPEAK" icon and it will automatically connect you to the proper TS3 server.

Hope to see you online!

It includes a FREE Su-25T attack aircraft so you can join missions and see how the rest of the game looks without spending any hard earned cash. It also incorporates Lock on Flaming Cliffs 3. Well fellow swampies! its that time of year, swamp water is in "good fettle" and the shrek swamp has never looked better. The annual wobbly water competition is up for grabs to the swampie that can get one over on the OGRE.... Charred flesh and vittles' will be prepared and consumed, much merriment is likely. As a result of the annual swampies gathering shrek squadron flying activities are likely to be un-reliable or non existent. But fear not, members and friends of -=Shrek=- sqn can enjoy normal flying once the dead and dying have been dragged out of the swamp( should take about a week).

I've flown today for the first time with Shrek officials and I am pleased for the cooperation they have shown, and that our time zone is more or less the same. Go Shrek! Props to bignewy :D
